Jamala – 1944 (chords, lyrics and my cover version)

I really like this Jamala’s song. It tells the story about her family and whole Crimean Tatar people.
I identified chords and publish them here.

At first glance, the song could sound difficult for you, but actually, it consists of only 3 chords.

It could be hard to sing the song if you are not familiar with Turkic languages and don’t know how to pronounce several special sounds like “ı” or “ğ”.

So, here is the chords (capo on a third fret):

Em
When strangers are coming
C
They come to your house,
H
They kill you all
and say,
Em
We’re not guilty
not guilty.

Em
Where is your mind?
Humanity cries.
C
You think you are gods.
But everyone dies.
H
Don’t swallow my soul.
Em
Our souls

C H
Yaşlığıma toyalmadım
Em C
Men bu yerde yaşalmadım
C H
Yaşlığıma toyalmadım
Em C
Men bu yerde yaşalmadım
Em
We could build a future
C
Where people are free
H
to live and love.
Em
The happiest time.

Em
Where is your heart?
Humanity rise.
C
You think you are gods
But everyone dies.
H
Don’t swallow my soul.
Em
Our souls

C H
Yaşlığıma toyalmadım
Em C
Men bu yerde yaşalmadım
C H
Yaşlığıma toyalmadım
Em C
Men bu yerde yaşalmadım

Em
Vatanima toyalmadim

How to find iPhone Simulator for Xcode 6 on a disk

It’s really easy. At one of the your projects add this line of code to see the path in the debug log:

NSLog(@"Document folder: %@", [[NSFileManager defaultManager] URLsForDirectory:NSDocumentDirectory inDomains:NSUserDomainMask]);
